Lernziele

The postgraduate Masters Program ?Health and Socety: International Gender Studies Berlin? has a modular structure in accordance with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and consists of 60 ECTS (including the Master Thesis).
For students enrolled in the program, fees for 1 ECTS amount to ?120.-. Module fees for participants not en-rolled in the program are ? 150 per 1 ECTS.

Studieninhalte

The postgraduate Master Program concentrates on Public Health issues from the gender and diversity perspective. The overall goal of the program is to impart knowledge, skills and experiences that will help students to develop a comprehensive and critical outlook on the interaction between health and disease as well as society and the individual.
Coursework is interdisciplinary and focuses on women?s health, reproductive health, gender and diversity, discrimination,
health determinants, health systems, etc in an international context. A solid foundation in qualitative and quantitative research skills is provided.
The Master Program provides students with the skills to develop, implement and evaluate preventive programs and needsorientated health care interventions. The master thesis provides students with the opportunity to apply their newly gained research skills to an innovative research topic of their own choosing.
